Veterans
The Veteran’s Administration has announced that the development of ALS at any time after discharge or release from active military, naval, or air service is sufficient to establish service connection for that disease. Active duty is defined as 90 or more days of continuous active service and eligibility is guaranteed regardless of location of service or number of years following discharge. This means that anyone with ALS who served in the military immediately becomes 100% service connected, once they make application for benefits. This includes full automobile grants and benefits!
